Currently, INGECID, as part of a joint venture with its partners A-Ingenia, Degree of Freedom, and Meta, is leading construction management, technical assistance, and health and safety coordination for the track duplication and electrification project between Hospital Vila Halt and Benidorm Station. The contracting authority is Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV).
The project covers a section of 6,234 meters and includes the installation of the second track for the doubling, rail replacement and switches on the existing track, as well as the implementation and adaptation of electrification systems, substation upgrades, and installation of new safety and communication facilities.
The project also includes the construction of a metal viaduct with a single 45-meter span.
The construction works are being carried out in accordance with FGV’s BIM manual, with VIRCORE implemented as the CDE.
