Together with A-Ingenia, Degree of Freedom and Meta Engineering, INGECID has been awarded a contract for approximately €1.2 million by FGV to provide site management, technical assistance and health and safety coordination services on the "Construction project for double track and electrification between the unmanned station at Hospital Vila and Benidorm station".

The joint venture will be responsible for technical assistance and site management for the project, which has a material execution budget of €33,682,311.68. It involves the construction of a double track, and the electrification and provision of signaling and railway communications in the section between the Hospital Vila (Vila Joiosa) stop and Benidorm station, both on line 1 of the Alicante TRAM service (FGV Network in Alicante).

The work on the six-kilometer section of line, including land on either side and some additional and adjacent strips, will increase the capacity of the Alicante TRAM railway, allowing more frequent and better services.
