We are proud to share this new international achievement: ESKOM has awarded an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract for the design and construction of a spent fuel container storage facility at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Plant to the Koeberg Civils Consortium, formed by INGECID's subsidiary in South Africa and local construction company WBHO Construction. The contract includes performing structural and radiological calculations to comply with nuclear regulations, preparing licensing documentation and providing support in this process with the national regulator (NNR). Auxiliary civil structures will also be designed, with INGECID drafting construction projects to be executed by WBHO. Once again, we would like to congratulate the whole ENGECID team, who have made this possible.
