Integrated Management System Policy

INGECID S.L. (hereinafter INGECID) has implemented an Integrated Management System that covers its core activities, namely:

  • Design of projects and technical reports in civil engineering, renewable energy, and nuclear energy.
  • Design and development of software in the fields of civil and nuclear engineering.
  • Training for companies in knowledge areas related to civil and nuclear engineering.
  • Research, development, and innovation in civil engineering, renewable energy, nuclear energy, and software engineering.

At INGECID, we are committed to maintaining and continuously improving our Integrated Management System to ensure its effectiveness and to meet the needs and expectations of our stakeholders.

This approach ensures that we remain at the forefront of the industry, meeting client needs, improving environmental performance, safeguarding people’s integrity, and guaranteeing compliance with requirements regarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of stakeholder information. All of this is carried out in accordance with the following requirements:

  • Explicitly defined by our clients and other stakeholders not listed below.
  • National and international standards, including UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015, UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015, UNE-EN ISO 56001:2024, UNE-EN ISO/IEC 27001:2023, the National Security Framework (regulated by RD 311/2022), UNE-EN ISO 45001:2023, and UNE-EN ISO 37301:2021.
  • Standards 10CFR50 Appendix B, NQA-1-2008/09A, the UNE 73400 series, and UNE-EN ISO 19443:2022 for projects related to nuclear facility safety.
  • UNE-EN ISO 19650:2019, parts 1 and 2, for project design and management of building and civil works using the BIM methodology, as well as consulting services for its implementation.
  • PECAL 2110 and PECAL 2210 standards, for projects where INGECID must comply with quality assurance requirements as a supplier in contracts with the Spanish Ministry of Defense.

In line with this commitment, INGECID’s management will allocate the necessary means and resources to implement the following principles, which form the basis of this policy:

  • Foster relationships with clients, collaborators, and partners that ensure effective two-way communication.
  • Promote and strengthen innovation activities as a key driver of competitiveness in our sector.
  • Position ourselves as a benchmark in the development of new technological solutions in civil engineering, nuclear energy, and renewable energy.
  • Encourage staff motivation to raise awareness of the importance of innovation, fostering creativity and teamwork to generate new ideas.
  • Protect and respect the environment by adopting measures to prevent pollution and reduce the environmental impact of our activities. In this regard, promote reuse, recycling, and resource management, integrating environmental considerations into project design.
  • Establish the necessary measures to protect information against loss of availability, confidentiality, integrity, traceability, and authenticity.
  • Implement a suitable methodology for risk assessment and treatment within the Information Security Management System (ISMS), considering business requirements, services, changes, threats, and external factors (legal requirements, contractual obligations, regulations). This methodology will also include controls to mitigate identified risks, criteria for risk acceptance, and thresholds for acceptable risk levels.
  • Monitor the implementation of Information Security (IS) measures to ensure their effective compliance.
  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, in line with INGECID’s purpose, size, and context, as well as the specific nature of its Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure consultation and participation of employees and their representatives in all aspects of the OSH Management System.
  • Eliminate hazards and reduce OSH risks.
  • Maintain process integrity and prevent unlawful activities, corruption, and bribery.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement in Quality, Environmental Management, Innovation, IS, and OSH throughout our activities.
  • Establish and periodically review Quality, Environmental, Innovation, IS, and OSH objectives within the framework of this policy.
