This week we are taking part, as we have for many years, in the DigiDECOM23 workshop in Norway, an event organized by the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) as an international collaborating center of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Jesús de Paz, director of the Design Engineering and BIM Department at INGECID, presented the company's skills in digital decommissioning 4.0.

Taking part in the "new initiatives and emerging technologies" block, Javier Alonso, Director of the Department of Nuclear Engineering, presented "VIRCORE-FLYT- A reality for a digital decommissioning", a project led by INGECID for Norsk Nukleær Dekommisjonering (NND) to dismantle and manage waste from the experimental nuclear reactors at Halden and Kjeller in Norway.

INGECID was keen to maintain its commitment to the event, which it sponsored once again.

We would like to congratulate the IFE once again for the good organization of this event, which, as well as promoting cooperation between companies and the creation of networks in the nuclear sector worldwide, is a force for the generation of knowledge in the sector.
