The wind turbine, which has a hub height of 144 meters, has been installed at the Oualidia wind farm, Morocco, developed by the French company InnoventThe assembly was carried out using the self-erection system of the Nabralift 2.0 family of towers from the Navarra-based company Nabrawind Technologies SL. INGECID designed the innovative reinforced concrete pile foundations. Three piles were built, the heads of which house the bolt cage for the connection with the metal tower. This design uses 80% less concrete and steel than standard gravity foundations, reducing the cost and CO22 during construction by more than 50%.
