Last Monday we had the honor of collecting the 21st Business Cooperation Award, a prestigious accolade presented by the Rector of the University of Cantabria on behalf of the Leonardo Torres Quevedo Foundation, in recognition of the outstanding ongoing cooperation between INGECID and the University, materialized in almost thirty RDI projects.

Our CEO, Jokin Rico, collected the award on behalf of INGECID in an event that highlighted the company's exceptional innovative spirit and its strong partnerships with public bodies, in particular with more than 10 research groups from institutes and the university, including IHCantabria, IFCA and IBBTEC, partnerships that continue to grow and extend to new groups.

At the event, special mention was made of the high proportion of University of Cantabria graduates and doctoral graduates who have joined the superb team at INGECID, developing high value-added projects linked to the nuclear, renewable energy, defense and civil engineering sectors, with an innovative technological perspective.
