Once again, we reiterate our commitment to research and public-private cooperation, participating as a sponsor in the Euro Working Group on Transportation Conference 2023. This decision is motivated by the close relationship between INGECID and the University of Cantabria, the result of cooperation with different research groups, such as the SUM+LAB – Sustainable Mobility & Railways Engineering Research Group. The School of Civil Engineering at the University of Cantabria was the venue for the 25th EWGT Conference, held last week. More than 260 transport industry experts from nearly 50 countries participated during the three days of the event, including numerous leading national institutions and organizations in the field of transport, traffic and logistics. This 25th conference was noteworthy for the excellent quality of the work presented, covering topics that include transport modeling and control, planning and operation, transport economics and policy, and innovative and sustainable solutions. INGECID would like to congratulate SUM+LAB (Sustainable Mobility & Railways Engineering Research Group), the EURO Working Group on Transportation and EURO (the Association of European Operational Research Societies) for a well-organized and successful conference.
