TAILORED SOLUTIONS, DESIGNED TO MAXIMIZE RESULTS

INGECID has developed an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) environment designed to train operators in maintenance tasks within complex industrial settings. The environment realistically simulates procedures and working conditions, allowing users to gain practical experience without the risks associated with direct intervention in real facilities.

As part of the decommissioning process of the Santa María de Garoña Nuclear Power Plant, INGECID carried out a comprehensive project focused on developing the digital model and associated database for the facility. This involved extensive CAD-to-BIM and SCAN-to-BIM activities, including the creation of automation tools to streamline work, audits, and quality controls, as well as complete plant scanning, all aimed at capturing the current state and ensuring the accuracy of the 3D model and the data of the contained assets.

At INGECID, we led the development of a digital transformation strategy for the international scientific project IFMIF-DONES, a cornerstone for the advancement of nuclear fusion in Europe. Our work focused on defining and promoting integrated information and data management throughout the project lifecycle, applying BIM methodologies aligned with ISO 19650 and planning for the future implementation of a PLM tool.

INGECID carried out the definition of an Element Classification System (ECS) for the BIM models of the Spanish State road network, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA). This project represents a key step toward digitalizing asset management in road infrastructure and contributed to the development of the RCEClass BIM classification system, recently released.
