INGECID is currently managing and modeling the BIM workflow for the expansion of the Emergency Department at Sant Joan University Hospital in D’Alacant (Alicante).

The project aims to transform the existing area into a more comfortable space with improved entry, exit, and circulation management, addressing the increasing demand for emergency services due to demographic growth.

Specifically, the expansion will cover 1,510 m², with another 1,536 m² being renovated. Accessibility improvements will also be implemented in compliance with current regulations, including ramp adjustments and the design of accessible restrooms, among other measures.

INGECID’s responsibilities, in addition to BIM management and model creation, include producing plans, conducting clash detection analyses, and configuring, implementing, and monitoring the VIRCORE Common Data Environment (CDE).
