In partnership with SACYR, INGECID is developing a digital infrastructure management platform for the Hospital del Henares, as part of the Cognitive project led by SACYR and co-financed by the Community of Madrid.

This project includes the development of a digital twin of the hospital based on its BIM model and using the platform developed for the project. This allows the hospital to be managed more efficiently through sensorization, data management and the use of Artificial Intelligence, maintaining and improving comfort and quality standards for patients, healthcare workers and hospital managers.

The digitalization of the hospital infrastructure and the use of this technology make the hospital "conscious", like a neural network.

  • It integrates existing systems such as BMS, consumption control systems, maintenance management systems and various hospital control systems.
  • Thousands of signals have sensors.
  • Thousands of assets are controlled.

All this makes it possible to:

  • Centrally control assets and data.
  • Consume energy more efficiently, by monitoring internal and external temperatures, together with dozens of other variables that are correlated by means of AI algorithms trained specifically for this purpose.
  • Reduce maintenance costs, thanks to more efficient asset management, with AI helping to predict and prevent potential malfunctions early.

The project uses the VIRCORE Framework to speed up the implementation of specific use cases, significantly reducing development costs and timelines.

INGECID recognizes SACYR as a leading company in hospital management, which means at INGECID we must give our very best, contributing our experience in digital transformation, supported by our VIRCORE Framework.
