Today, May 21, 2020, ENRESA submitted documentation to the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), applying for authorization of the first stage of decommissioning and transfer of ownership of the Santa María de Garoña nuclear power plant.

As part of the Decommissioning Engineering team, together with WESTINGHOUSE, NATURGY and IDOM, INGECID took part in preparing this documentation, using the VIRCORE process management tool.
