Jokin Rico, technical director of INGECID was a speaker at the Conference on Innovation in Road Infrastructures (Bilbao, December 3, 2018), an event held at the Bilbao School of Engineering – University of the Basque Country. The DEIA newspaper was one of the main organizers.
At the meeting, which was attended by managers of some of the sector's leading companies, the Provincial Council announced that its next sectoral plan would include “smart roads”.
INGECID, represented by its technical director, civil engineer Dr Jokin Rico, presented a practical vision of BIM (Building Information Modeling) in the construction of infrastructures, highlighting the added value of the company’s ability to interconnect commercial software and develop bespoke applications.
