
On May 17 and 18, INGECID met a group of experts in the decommissioning of nuclear power plants around the world (TAG 64) at the José Cabrera nuclear power plant (Guadalajara) to share progress on their projects.
On May 17 and 18, the José Cabrera nuclear power plant (Guadalajara) received a visit from the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for the Co-operative Programme for the Exchange of Scientific and Technical Information on Nuclear Installation Decommissioning Projects set up by the Nuclear Energy Agency of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (NEA/OECD).
Its main purpose is to exchange technical information on decommissioning projects through biannual meetings held in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
INGECID attended this session as a partner of ENRESA, to present developments in its NPIM (Nuclear Power Plant Information Modelling) project to apply BIM methodology to nuclear power plant decommissioning projects.
